Novomix (Insulin aspart) is a form of insulin used to treat diabetes. It is a mixture of rapid-acting insulin (30%) and long-acting insulin (70%). This means that it will start to lower your blood sugar 10-20 minutes after you take it, have a maximum effect between 1 and 4 hours.
